Yup, it’s true, MIT Media Lab just presented the world with the little and cheap laptop they have been developing to help fight the digital divide between rich and poor countries.
This little computer is surelly impressive, but not only for it’s price: it’s a full color, linux based and powered in a very special way: with a wind-up crank!! (I sure would appreciate having something like that on my mac!), it does have some limitations, expecially regarding data storage, but the model is more like a network computer than like a true laptop, it does come WIFI and USB ready!
The main idea behind this project if to enable kids from poor countries to be connected to the Digital World, and from there to learn and improve themselfs, this little computer is just the enabler of that bright future!

It’s official, the new iPod plays video as well as pictures and music, can we still called it an music player? I consider mine much more than that already and it doesn’t play video! Commuting could be even greater with some lost episodes of Galatica for instance, right David?
The new iMac, comes with an isight camera integraded and a remote control! My uncle would kill to have is iMac have this little last feature, he often uses is super sized iMac to whatch DVD’s with his wife and kid, a remote is just what he’s missing! It would be nice if they sold it separeatly, right? Hum.. I might just have an idea for a christmas gift here! 
Now, is it my impression or this “Front row” thing seems offelly similar to a media center? Hum.. I wonder what they might be cooking for christmas, next year!!

Comes in two different flavours, black and white, 2 and 4 Gb, and I must confess I find it fantastic! Just take look at it’s specs, in particular it’s dimensions.
If what you’re looking is more like a phone, I guess there’s something for you two!

Yup, it’s true, I just bought on of this! I just synchronized it with my laptop Trekus so I’m just hearing my first podsounds!
If I could just say one word about it? ROCKS!
But if I was allowed more, then I could just say that it also RULES!
Oh YEAH!
Something tells me that my travelling will never be the same!
