Playful Interfaces

I’ve been working on this presentation for a while, but lately my time to finish up this sort of stuff seems to be none, so I’ve decided to published as it is, and maybe gather some ideas and thoughts about this from whoever sees it.

Off to Copenhagen! :)

I’ll in Copenhagen for Reboot 10, from tomorrow to Saturday, seems I just can’t get enough from this city, so there’s no lame excuse to be there!

Reboot is a unique happening, it has been a personal reboot for the past 4 years, a time off I take to brainwash myself with new and amazing ideas, but also, an opportunity to check back on friends I don’t get to see every as often as I’d like.

Tomorrow afternoon (25th) and just before Pre-Reboot Get Together, Henriette managed to persuade me to join her on workshop entitled “Community Building - Next Level“, so if you’re in Copenhagen and you’re as passionate as us about Social Web and Online Communities, join us there!

This year a bit like Peter Rukavina suggested I’ve “organically” taken a step further and I submited two proposals for presentations at Reboot. I’ll be presenting some low cost, agile techniques and solutions to the problem of ’sky rocketing costs’ of traditional usability testing. If you’re interested join me for “(Almost) Free Usability Testing;)

Twiiter Stampede

It’s not new that Twitter has scalability problems, one simple look at their numbers and it’s more than reasonable, yesterday however things seemed a little less under control with the site/api being quite some time unavailable! don’t exactly know if that’s the reason, but my Jaiku contact list just got a daily increase of 6%!

logo.pngIt’s still hard to figure out if people are just registering for the service because they’ve found it or if we’re witnessing a Twitter Stampede?

Reboot 10

rebootlogo.pngIt’s all set, I’ll take part once again in Reboot, which is probably one of the very best conferences in Europe. It’s going to be my 4th Reboot, and if all goes as it did the last 3 times, I’m going to come back once again filled with ‘mind and body breaking ideas‘. This year’s theme is FREE, as in free culture, free access, free living!

It’s probably going to be the year with most portuguese, which probably leaves me and AndrĂ© a whole lot more happier than ever, seems like after 4 years somethings have finally changed.

Reboot has been the definitely mother of SHiFT just in case people haven’t noticed, this very special conference was the call to action that we needed and it has been such ever since! So if you’re undecided follow us and join us in the beautiful city of copenhagen!
