The MOTOFONE handset redefines wireless communication with high design, smart features and easy functionality at a low price. (…) the MOTOFONE enables even the newest phone users to embrace mobile communication with confidence and style.
I first saw them last month in London on Oliver Ueberholz hands and it immediately surprised me for it’s simple design and size! The best part was still to come, the price tag, apparently this gadgets sell by 20 euros in some european countries! Since they’re not available here in Portugal, I asked Colin to buy me one! I could write a long and sour post on why such equipment did get to Portugal, but I’ll refrain myself for now…
It’s no news that vending machines come in all sizes and shapes these days! But today I don’t know how I’ve resisted to use this one in downtown Lisbon…
This particular one ‘PLING‘ is supposed to deliver meals, not just those typical soups and dried stuff! It has entire meals and ice-creams on the menu! According to this same menu images these machine is capable of delivering full portuguese specialties, with fresh carrots and peas, like “moelas“, “feijoada” e “frango com cogumelos“!
Unless there’s a full featured kitchen underneath I don’t know how it could come up with such things, honestly! I don’t know how I resisted… just to see what would come out of it!!
I’ll in Copenhagen for Reboot 10, from tomorrow to Saturday, seems I just can’t get enough from this city, so there’s no lame excuse to be there!
Reboot is a unique happening, it has been a personal reboot for the past 4 years, a time off I take to brainwash myself with new and amazing ideas, but also, an opportunity to check back on friends I don’t get to see every as often as I’d like.
Tomorrow afternoon (25th) and just before Pre-Reboot Get Together, Henriette managed to persuade me to join her on workshop entitled “Community Building - Next Level“, so if you’re in Copenhagen and you’re as passionate as us about Social Web and Online Communities, join us there!
This year a bit like Peter Rukavinasuggested I’ve “organically” taken a step further and I submited two proposals for presentations at Reboot. I’ll be presenting some low cost, agile techniques and solutions to the problem of ’sky rocketing costs’ of traditional usability testing. If you’re interested join me for “(Almost) Free Usability Testing”
Just returned with Patrícia from two amazing weeks of vacations in the northern Spain, in ‘Picos de Europa‘ more precisely.
We discovered unique places, great views and had some extra doses of much deserved rest. All summed up, this were probably the best two weeks I’ve had in a loooong time (the fact of being utterly unconnected and as far away from the normal rush as possible probably had something to do with it!).
Obviously we took way too much pictures, but I’ve selected a few of them and posted them here.
